The Brief
Redesign existing website for a video content agency using WordPress. A primary goal was to showcase their portfolio of work in a consistent and engaging way, while achieving maximum quality of images and video without compromising site speed.
The Solution
As image and video quality were so crucial to the success of this project, a lot of work went into optimising images and working with Vimeo API to ensure the best experience for the user was achieved. I also worked with the clients in house animator to embed an animated and responsive SVG on the homepage that transitions into an embedded video.
The content layout was based on designs that the client commissioned and was coded in a way that would allow for excellent transition into a responsive layout for mobile devices.
A drag and drop page builder was also used to allow the client to easily modify content and replicate portfolio layouts.
