The Brief
To redevelop a WordPress website using designs provided in sketch format. The existing site had several thousand members and their profiles had to be maintained during the rebuild.
The Solution
Although the new design and layouts were dramatically different to the exisiting site, in order to maintain the current membership status of all the users, as well as the customised functionalty of the membership directory, the best course of action was to strip back the existing WordPress theme and rebuild it. This resulted in an “up to date” and streamlined theme with the new design applied to the frontend.
Along side the new design, the backend functionalty was improved to provide more flexiibilty and usability for site admins, enabling them to edit more of the site content themselves.
