The Brief

To re-develop an existing WordPress site with an updated design and improved functionality. The focus of the website was shifting towards a freelancer membership / jobs platform and required extensive custom functionality.

The Solution

The existing site was built with a very awkward and poorly functioning page builder, so a key goal of the rebuild was to provide a better content management solution. This was achieve using the Divi theme with the Divi page builder.

To create the new job and membership platform, custom post types, user roles and access restrictions were developed. Gravity forms plugin was used as a foundation for the registration process, which I built upon to create the specific requirements for user profiles and job creation.

The design was implemented with accessibility and site performance in mind using optimised graphics.
